P.S. On voting day, May 21st , all elementary school classes will be eating lunch in their classrooms. In order for this to run smoothly, all school lunches will need to be ordered in advance. Please complete the attached order form if your child will be purchasing the pizza lunch for that day.

Dear Friends,
Earlier this week six elementary students competed in the 7th Annual PVES Spelling Bee and it was a very exciting evening. The word caller was Board of Education trustee Jeanine Rufo who gave the children some very challenging words to spell and they all did an outstanding job. Please join me in congratulating our champion speller Mia Leone as well as our other finalists Julia Curry, Serhiy Solovyov, Vasilisa Ioukhnovets, Lauren Curry and Daniel DeChristopher.
On Tuesday, May 21st the PVCSD will be holding the vote for the 2013-2014 budget. The vote will be held in the elementary school cafeteria. Therefore, lunch on that day will be eaten in our classrooms. In order for this to run efficiently and smoothly, we are asking that all school lunches for May 21, be pre-ordered. The menu will include pizza, carrots, choice of an apple or apple juice and milk. If your child is interested in purchasing lunch for May 21, please complete the order form that is included in this week's distribution.
Please check our website regularly as there is a lot going on at PVES as we approach the end of the school year.
