Tigers On Parade - October 9, 2009
Tiger sculptures created by Putnam Valley High School students were placed on display outside of the High School as part of the Class Color Day events on Friday, October 9. The tiger is the Putnam Valley High School mascot and the students decorated their individual sculptures to represent some aspect of their life or personality. The idea for this Studio Art class unit came from student teacher, Ms. Ashley Nozell (pictured below with the Tigers) and It is based on Chicago's "Cows On Parade". The tigers are now on display in the High School library. PVHS art teachers, Ms. Lisa Furlong and Ms. Jen Armbruster, also assisted with the unit.
