Clubs & activities at Putnam Valley High School are supervised by faculty and staff members and organized and run by and for students. There are fixed clubs and activities that meet every year. There are other clubs that come and go based on student interest. Whenever possible, PVHS will try and offer a club if there is enough student interest and there is a faculty member willing to sponsor the club.

Athletic teams at Putnam Valley High School are offered at the varsity and junior varsity levels. Competition increases with each level of a sport. All sports focus on sportsmanship, honor and athletic excellence.
