An Introduction
Now, before you scan these book reviews, I want to set aside some assumptions you may have. These reviews are not of the New York Times variety. All of these reviews were published by The School Administrator, an educational professional journal. The editorial staff specifies the length and purpose of book reviews.
I chose to engage in this intellectual activity for two reasons. First, it allowed me to write to a standard for publication. Second, it provided me with an opportunity to read, at no cost (since I am provided the books to be reviewed free from the publisher), current literature in my field.
